PNP Vietnam is honored to partner with MD Food on this journey of business networking, partner sourcing, and expanding opportunities to bring Vietnamese products to the international market.
The first day at Sourcing Expo 2026 facilitated numerous valuable meetings and connections with buyers from various countries and continents.
Notably, international visitors showed interest not only in familiar products but also strongly focused on Vietnamese agricultural products that have undergone value-added processing. The freeze-dried durian and cashew mix was a standout product that attracted significant attention.
The combination of Vietnamese cashews and freeze-dried fruit—particularly durian—offered a unique experience and garnered positive feedback from international customers. In particular, the "Beauty Queen Trio" of cashew mixes at the booth served as an exciting highlight, showcasing a new product rich in Vietnamese agricultural value through a modern, youthful approach suited to the international market.
MD Food’s Chicken and Beef Pho also attracted a large number of international visitors eager to experience and learn more about the products. The authentic Vietnamese flavors combined with a convenient format sparked many discussions regarding the potential for introducing these products to overseas markets.
Additionally, buyers from Taiwan and China showed particular interest in dried agricultural products—including dried corn—and other Vietnamese goods with export potential.
Turkey: Interest in developing Nutri Bars with a requirement for increased protein content. Poland: Interest in dried fruit and dried food products, specifically regarding carton packaging specifications. Japan & AEON: Keen interest in Vietnamese products with growth potential for international retail networks. A highlight of the opening day: PNP & MD FOOD had the honor of welcoming the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade to our booth. The Deputy Minister personally experienced and tasted "Mix Cashew"—a new product line debuting at the Sourcing Expo. The product received highly positive feedback—specifically, it was described as "delicious"—along with encouragement for MD FOOD to invest further in branding to strengthen the brand's market presence and boost sales.
Even more gratifying was receiving similar positive feedback from numerous international buyers throughout the first day. This serves as motivation for MD FOOD to continue refining the product and investing in the brand, aiming for an official launch of Mix Cashew in late September 2026—perfectly timed for the 2027 Tet (Lunar New Year) season.
From durian, mango, and tropical fruits to cashews and Vietnamese Pho—quintessential Vietnamese ingredients and dishes are being reimagined with a fresh look to reach the global stage. Vietnamese products — Connecting Vietnam to the world.
